MEET MAIRI
Renaissance Woman
I am knowledgeable in many facets of the creative industries, and love to explore new skills.
Over the past year I have picked up embroidery, sewing, fabric painting, TikTok marketing, film photography and development, 360 cameras, virtual tours, procreate illustrating, and colouring page creation. As well as brought back the basics of painting and block printing.
I am caring, fashionable, confident, loyal, and GENUINELY ME!
I started my creative journey as a dancer at the young age of 3.
This branched into visual arts and translating my passion into different mediums.
I started painting, drawing, sculpting, printmaking, digital photography, film photography, video production, editing, document beautification, graphic design, publications, branding, and so much more!

With the background knowledge, I gained from Studying Global Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo, I have become a versatile designer.
TRAVEL
Study Abroad
I thrive off of people and new experiences! Travelling has become a great input for my creative fuel. I recognized this during my term abroad at the School of Design at the University of Leeds, in England. There I got to meet new people, experience new cultures, and learn from England’s design experts.
The Now
Currently
I am finishing up my final year of my Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts Degree, while working part time at both the Sault Ste Marie Museum and the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association.
In my free time I try to stay happy and healthy by practicing a holistic lifestyle. Focusing on my mental, physical, spiritual, and social wellbeing.
The Future
Goals
Post graduation I plan to get a job (working for you ;)) and gain an opportunity to grow my skills and gain more experience in the industry.

My dream is to travel and gain international experience while working. And maybe eventually I can gain enough worldly knowledge to start my own small design company.
